The RØDECaster Video S is a powerful and easy-to-use video and audio production console that brings the entire production process together in one device. It is suitable for studio productions, video podcasts, interviews and live streaming, enabling broadcast-quality content without the need for a complex hardware configuration. It combines a video switcher, recorder and professional-grade audio mixer in one package.

Versatile video production

The device supports four simultaneous video sources (3 × HDMI, 1 × USB-C UVC) and enables fast transitions between four videos and five editable scenes. The HDMI output can be configured for program stream, preview or multi-screen mode, for example.

Full HD 1080p resolution (23.98–60 fps) ensures high-quality images, and NDI support allows video to be sent and received over the network, even in multi-camera productions.

Professional sound

Two Neutrik® combo jacks (XLR/6.3 mm) with Revolution Preamps™ deliver clean, low-noise sound. APHEX® audio processing includes EQ, compressor, de-esser, noise canceller, Aural Exciter™ and Big Bottom™ effects.

The audio mixer manages up to 18 audio sources and 9 stereo channels, and each output can have its own level set.

Streaming and recording

Live streaming is possible via Wi-Fi 6 or Ethernet (RTMP/RTMPS) to platforms such as YouTube Live, Twitch, Facebook Live and X. Recording is done on external USB storage, and the device supports both program stream and separate ISO recording of all video sources and audio tracks for post-editing.

Bluetooth 5.3 enables, for example, the integration of phone calls into production.

Convenience and connectivity

The 2” touchscreen and multi-function controller make control fast. With the RØDECaster App, you can remotely control scenes, graphics and audio, and take advantage of automatic video switching based on audio.

Built-in receivers support two RØDE Series IV wireless microphones without the need for separate accessories. The compact size (253.5 x 128.4 x 60.2 mm) and 875 g weight make the device easy to position and move.
